Surround soundbar

The Cinebar Trios Surround is the first system to incorporate a soundbar into a full-fledged surround sound setup. And it was developed right here at Teufel headquarters in Berlin.

Wireless 5.1 sound

The subwoofer and rear speakers connect to the soundbar wirelessly*. All you need is a power outlet in the rear area. You won't have to worry about laying cables across the room. The subwoofer and rear speakers turn on and off automatically.

The T 4000 SW bridges the divide between something you can fit in your living room easily and mega bass playback. Its incredibly flat enclosure makes it easy to place the T 4000 out of the way. That small space behind the sofa or coffee table is enough. In fact, the T 4000 is so slender, it can even be positioned under most sofas, wall mounted or used to support your television. Its heavy duty, reinforced MDF enclosure was designed to withstand the weight of conventional televisions making it double as a great stand.

In spite of its highly convenient dimensions, T 4000 has a generous 250 watts of power. The three driver system, already successfully employed in Teufel’s highly popular System 4 THX model, is used here as well. This ensures balanced playback at THX standards and produces powerful, deep bass all the way down to 35 Hz for home cinema that puts you right in the action. Even at very high volumes, the long-throw drivers mean distortion is minimized.

The T 4000 is a universal subwoofer that can be combined with just about any home cinema set, even very high-performance models. This means the T 4000 is perfect for accompanying surround speakers or for giving an already complete 5.1 set an extra boost.

A Teufel cable with a 1.0 mm² cross sectional area is recommend for multimedia systems and less expensive home cinema systems where only short distances need to be covered.

CCA Wires

The wires within this cable are made from copper-clad aluminium. CCA cables have the same electric conductivity as full copper wires but weigh less, making them easier to work with.

SubConnect MOD

This SubConnect MOD is for use with the T 4000 subwoofer or S 6000 Subwoofer and CoreStation A/V receiver or DecoderStation 6 or Subwoofer Wireless Transmitter (connects to the line out of third party amplifiers). The MOD is simply plugged in to a dedicated slot it the back of a T 4000 or S 6000.

Initial connection of the subwoofer MOD to a CoreStation/DecoderStation 6/Subwoofer Wireless Transmitter can be comfortably achieved using the CoreStation/DecoderStation 6 menu on your TV. Once paired, they will connect automatically when turned on and within 10 meters of each other.

Facilitates fast and space-saving placement of subwoofer systems in your home. Lossless signal sends clean, precise bass with high fidelity pulses.

For the SubConnect wireless module, you’ll need:

1. T 4000 flat subwoofer or S 6000 active subwoofer

The LT 4 takes movie soundtracks, music, and games and transforms them into superb audio quality you can feel. And all that is thanks to the following features:

  • Their 3-way system distributes the incoming audio signal from the receiver to five different drivers that are optimized to play their dedicated frequency ranges. This results in better sound than that produced by a 2-way or wideband system.
  • A total of four large 75 mm midwoofers ensure full, deep playback. The only thing slim about this system is its columns.
  • Long-throw drivers produce high, precise and distortion-free levels
  • A large 20 mm tweeter endows voices and effects with a silky, highly detailed tone without sounding shrill or aggressive
  • In spite of the slender columns, the crossover frequency for the subwoofer was set at 120 Hz. This makes it difficult to localize the bass which means more flexibility when positioning this speaker in the room.
  • The lightly slanted corners on the columns and satellites produce a large, horizontal dispersion angle so that extraordinary sound can be enjoyed in every listening position.

Easy setup and installation

The slender standing columns are securely positioned on a sturdy aluminum base. The center and the shorter columns have integrated wall mounts. It is also possible to place the center on an included plate. Each speaker is equipped with firm, gold-plated screw terminals. These can be used with cables up to 2.5 mm² in diameter.
