Our application process*
After you have successfully submitted your review via our online portal or by e-mail, we will review all application documents together with the responsible manager. Since we have a very high number of applications in some areas, it can take up to two weeks before we get back to you with initial feedback.
In case your application documents have made a good impression, we usually plan a first telephone or Skype interview with the specialist as a first step. This is about getting a first personal impression of you, asking specific questions about your documents and of course answering your questions about your role, the team or about Teufel.
After this first round of pre-selection, we then decide who we would like to get to know better at our location in a longer, personal interview. For some specialist areas (e.g. hardware or software engineering), we will also set up a test task in order to gain an impression of your skills.
After the personal interview, the final feedback - and in the positive case our contract offer! Of course, we try to plan all personal interviews for the respective role with short intervals in order to be able to give prompt feedback to all candidates. Due to business trips or vacation absences, these interviews can sometimes last several days or weeks - but you will receive at least a little interim feedback from us in any case, in case we need more time until the final decision is made!
For positions with disciplinary management responsibility, we also conduct a one-day assessment after the personal interview.
